A native of Orlando, Florida, Brian Stamper has been working with Coach Shaw's program for seven years. He serves as the Director of Strength Training, as well as the Offensive Line Coach. Brian played college football at Vanderbilt University, where he was a two-time All-SEC offensive tackle. During his time at Vanderbilt, Brian started as a true freshman and amassed a record-setting 41 consecutive starts beforer suffering a near career ending back injury. He was able to return to the field for a senior season after undergoing surgery and played his final season at Vanderbilt for a total 53 starts for the Commodores.
Following college, Brian trained with Coach Shaw to prepare for his Pro Day at Vanderbilt, and was able to be taken on as a free agent with the New Orleans Saints. After just a season with New Orleans, Brian decided to stop playing football and risk further injuring his back, and move back to home. He started working with Coach Shaw shortly thereafter as the Strength Coach and Offensive Line Specialist. As a valuable member of Tom Shaw Performance team Brian has trained many top offensive linemen in the NFL. Notable players include first-rounders Maurkice Pouncey, Mike Pouncey, #1 overall pick Eric Fisher, and second-round pick Brian Winters, along with many other successful NFL linemen. Brian has a strong passion for training athletes to be successful and an immense love of the game of football.
